inspired from the dialogue between Scar and Simba in the Lion King (and i modified some words in it to fit the Avatarverse teehee!)

now we all know that Zuko officially has a daughter (who's the current Firelord in Korra) and i can't help picturing her looking up to Azula for her prowess in firebending. although we haven't seen the daughter yet, this is my interpretation of her (and also my OC, who will have to be AU once we see the official one) and the idea clicked once i saw this particular scene in the Lion King.

the fandom still has no concrete idea of what became of Azula after the finale, so this is also my interpretation of what happened:

after spending years healing in the asylum, she was finally released, but put under house arrest in a large mansion near the royal palace; closely monitored at all hours. she is still healing from her madness, but is now more in control and less violent and sadistic than her old self. by the time her niece visits her secretly, Azula was just a shadow of her former self, wallowing in self pity, for she lost all purpose in this world.

the scene here is when her niece takes her usual visit and asks her innocent questions while Azula takes an afternoon cup of tea. this is supposed to be in some tropical garden in her mansion; i dunno if it looks like it, cause i suck at backgrounds
